Massive Update
Ok, so I finally got my laptop fixed and figured that it was time for a massive update!
I'll make it short and sweet; you can read about the last few weeks in the picture captions.
This is my best friend Jenni. I've written about her a few times before. Here we are in math class right before taking a test. We get a little hyper sometimes.
I think that she's trying to show off her yellow nail polish....
She has such pretty eyes...
This is us after winning a few games in our society. We had an Olympic theme and won "paper" medals. yay!
The games consisted of hockey, four corners, and, in this game, I had to feed Jenni a banana while blindfolded.
Like I said, I finally got my computer fixed. One of the screws that is essential in holding my screen on got loose. Mike ordered a new one for me but before it got here I found the missing little piece.
This is my friend Jesse; he was kind enough to put it all back together again for me.
I think I'll buy him a coffee as a thank you...
One of the side effects to having your computer screen fall halfway off.
My roommate, and former roommate, sang in chapel on Wednesday. They have such beautiful voices...
I took these pictures quite a while ago; and I just got around to actually editing them and uploading them to the blog...
Jenni and I again...
We're pretty much like sisters.
We're complete opposites in most areas, but totally understand each other like non-other.
This is a friend that I'm keeping for life.
Rodeo Day at Northland.
We all dressed up as cowboys and cowgirls, had a jolly o'l time.

Favorite Things- Mobiles
Mobiles aren't just for hanging over baby cribs anymore. They can be a sweet, simple addition to pretty much any room.
There aren't really any rules to making mobiles. The more creative the better.
It's easy to personalize and customize a mobile by using a variety of materials, shapes, and colors.
Here are some pictures of mobiles that I thought were pretty cool, and below is a link on instructions to making a butterfly mobile.
This mobile is made out of wood, and would appeal to any animal lover out there.
Absolutely LOVE this white one. I think that I might try and make one sometime.
Like I said, using a variety of materials (in this case different kinds of paper) can make a mobile more special and unique.
This one amazes me; the paper art is pretty impressive.
Felts kittens make a cute mobile for a little girls room.
A mobile like this would be awesome in a boys room, and you can use toilet paper rolls for the body of the planes.
Some other mobile ideas...
Make a paper teacup mobile for a kitchen window
Heart mobile to hang on Valentines day or an Anniversary
Snowflake/Snowman mobile for winter months
Ginger Bread People for holiday months
Colorful Alphabet letters to hang in a homework area
Paper Flowers and Butterflies for spring
Get Creative!
Favorite Things- Hoops and Yoyo
Sorry!
I'm sorry I haven't update my blog since Monday.
Monday night my computer screen came halfway off and I haven't really had the chance to fix it yet. I'm working on it now but I'm trying to be really gentle.
To make up for not posting anything new for a few days I will try to make a handful of fun, interesting posts today.
By the way...if anyone wants to help me pay for fixing my laptop (that I use everyday in classes) you can click on the little pay pall donate button on the right hand sidebar. Thanks so much!

I LOVE homemade cookies.
Who doesn't?
I found some gorgeous cookies, beautifully decorated, AND are homemade! There is a huge variety available, and you'll be certain to find some that are perfect for any occasion.
(well...who needs a special occasion to eat cookies anyway?)
Just look at some of these! They look too good to eat.
