Baby Steps

I'm taking those first few baby steps towards a healthier lifestyle. I figure that it will take me quite a while to reach my goal weight and to have a healthier body. 

Maybe that's why I've been fearful of taking on a healthier lifestyle. It's just easier to eat whatever I'm craving, and eating what I want gives me satisfaction immediately. 

I've had the fear of failure in front of me for too long. I've feared that I'll work so hard and deny myself so much only to have nothing to show for it.

So here I am, taking my baby steps.

  1. The journey of 1000 miles begins with the first step. I don't think it will take a long time to reach your goals, once you set them and decide for yourself to make changes. I had health issues I couldn't heal with medicine so I tried diet changes, that was in April... now my symptoms are all but gone , I am living without pain, and a wonderful side benefit is that I went from a size 10 to a size 2 (lost 30 lbs). It was a happy side effect of trying to take back my health. If you are interested in hearing what I did, just comment on my blog and I will be glad to share. Good luck!
